This poor little guy appeared abandoned. No license plates on it. It didn’t deserve this. It’s abandoned in a strange place though, it’s in a very busy business parking lot. I was leaving and saw it and HAD to take a photo of it. When I glanced at the interior, the shifter is GONE! There is nothing where a shifter should be, just a hole.

UPDATE!

whilst scrolling through Facebook classifieds I found a week old listing for this exact car. I have messaged the seller seeing if he sold it or if it was stolen from him. The paint is faded the same on the front which is why I suspect it's his car.

They just have a 2.3 Pinto engine, right? I’ve seen lots of people who swapped a different one in because the stock motor isn’t intercooled and has a weird power band.

2.3 Pinto/Lima with a turbo. I know people put them in Pintos and Fox Bodies; my understanding is that  they’re pretty polarizing, with some loving them and some hating them.

I know it’s a pretty common swap to grab parts from the Foxstang’s turbo pinto. And yeah, polarizing is the right word. I think of them as European Foxbodies. They get love and hate in equal measure.
